It's been a transparent race based smear campaign from the beginning.
Did you mean to type, "When Republicans run black candidates, they do so out of racism, but when Democrats run black candidates, they do so because the candidate has the best ideas in the room"?Bonus:
Despite the tripe in the article, I think Scott Adam's analysis
is spot on and that Cain will indeed receive the Republican nomination.
That Scott Adams analysis was great. And I wish more people would bring up the points he did....
Believe it or not, I also have personal experience with being falsely accused of sexual harassment. A male co-worker filed a claim about me because he felt that I "invaded his personal space" by standing too close to him. I'm not kidding! I almost lost my job over this!
So, yeah, keep that in mind next time you hear about someone getting charged with "sexual harassment" and the media doesn't tell you exactly what they're accused of doing. :P

I've long ago learned that if there aren't concrete, provable, demonstrable facts attached to an allegation in the media, I just need to tune whatever the media says out.
Yeah. And quite frankly, I hope that Adams is right that Cain has the nomination in the bag. If Cain does and he's kept his wick dry, I think we'll see a real black man in office come January 20, 2013.

Which is the bulk of it.

He was doing fine when he said that most claims are bullshit and Republicans will recognize that. After that he went downhill.
Since you wrote this reply Cain has gaffed a couple of times and likely killed his chances. That stumble on Libya might be understandable but it will be replayed as many times as Obama's billion dollars can afford.
I'm not keeping up with the news; could you provide link(s) to the stumble(s)?
I haven't kept links.
Herman Cain Libya
Cain Gingrich over to you
He took a very long, confused time to answer a question on Libya, uttering the horrible words, "No that's the wrong one". At the C-G "debate"/Love-fest when asked a question he punted to Newt.
He also horribly handled the harassment allegations.
What do you think Cain should have done differently?
Confront. He was ever on the defensive. (He's done better than many of the GOP, refusing to keep answering questions. I'll give him that.)
Full disclosure from day one followed by repeating that we all know frivolous lawsuits abound. Instead he allowed this to drag out.
Every time press asked about it after first few days ask the reporter their thoughts on Kennedy killing a woman, the "waitress sandwich", Clinton getting a blowjob at work, and why the entire mainstream media skipped for a year the former VP nominee fathering a child with a mistress and using campaign funds to hide it.
Eventually he should have announced a live press conference "to help press clear up scandal" and once the cameras rolled started talking about fast and furious, Solyndra, and every other would-be scandal under the Obama Admin the press has ignored. I'd start the conference with, "I wonder why no one seems to cover the Attorney General lying about the multi-organizational accessory to the murder of hundreds or thousands of Mexican people". If they pressed him after, "So you really don't care about the slaughter of innocent Mexicans?"
I agree that would have been a better response, but I don't think he's entirely killed his chances. I still think that Cain's the best candidate out there for the Republican nomination.
I can't say for sure whether I think Herman Cain is guilty or innocent of the sexual harassment charges. However, the thing that gets me the most is the hypocrisy of the left on the sexual harassment issue as a whole.
For instance, even if you assume that EVERY charge against Cain is true, it still pales in comparison to the disgusting things that leftie heroes like Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton, and Chris Dodd have done to countless women over the years. But not only do they get a free pass; they get treated like heroes by the media and feminist groups! THAT'S what pisses me off (and makes me want to set a bra on fire)!
We can totally go hang out at an
occupy invade camp and I'll be your videographer.
Shit, am I now guilty of sexual harassment, just like every other (evil) Republican in office?
What if I say I'm a Democrat? Do I get a free pass?
Sorry. I'm one of those evil Republicans who believes that offenders should be treated equally regardless of political affiliation, race, etc. So you get the mace either way (the spikey kind, not the wussy spray). LOL
And I feel offended!
**runs to lawyer**
How fucked are you now?
How fucked are you now?
How fucked are you now?
You're surely fucked now.
Don't forget VP nominee Edwards! Newt is the ultimate evil but having a baby with a mistress while your wife battles with cancer and using campaign funds to cover it up gets buried for a year then all but ignored.
Don't get me started.
That they reelected him after he tied up two trucks and a helicopter during Katrina aftermath for personal use left me astonished.
